The Epi-tree shows you untouched nature and brings you back to the orchid&#8217;s origins. This is also where it gets its name. Orchids are actually epiphytes, which means they attach themselves to living greenery without extracting nutrients from it.   <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Inspired by nature<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/kolibricompany.com\/product\/epi-tree\/\">Epi-tree<\/a> is an imitation of nature, crafted with great care and craftsmanship. A unique masterpiece. Just like in nature, the orchid clings to the trunk of the tree and gets its nourishment from water and light. It is an exclusive orchid because of the special craftsmanship required to create the Epi-tree. The development process requires patience and knowledge, making it available only in limited numbers. The young orchids are tied to a stump to develop into an Epi-tree and then go back into the nursery to grow. This process takes longer than the other orchids we have in our nursery.      <\/p>\n\n<h2><strong>Epi-tree care<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Epi-tree consists of three Phalaenopsis orchids. Because of this, you can follow the same <a href=\"https:\/\/kolibricompany.com\/verzorgingstips-orchideeen\/\">care tips<\/a> as for the Phalaenopsis orchid. However, there are a few points you should keep in mind.  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Location<br \/>\nMake sure the Epi-tree is in a bright spot, but not in direct sunlight. This means it should not be in burning sun, such as in a window frame where the sun shines fully. Do you want to place the Epi-tree there anyway? Then make sure you filter the sunlight with a roller blind. In addition, it is important that you do not put the Epi-tree in a cold place, but in a room with a temperature between 16 and 24 degrees. Also make sure it is not in a draft, next to a roaring heater, or next to a fruit bowl.     <\/li>\n<li>Watering<br \/>\nOne of the most important sources of nutrition for the Epi-tree is water. Make sure the saucer it stands in is always filled with water. It must not stand dry. In addition, we recommend misting the Epi-tree twice a week with a plant sprayer. This prevents the Epi-tree from drying out and allows you to enjoy its beauty for a long time.    <\/li>\n<li>Finished blooming<br \/>\nAfter about eight weeks, the Epi-tree will finish blooming. Fortunately, it can bloom again, and with the following steps, you can make it bloom once more. To do this, cut the stem at the second eye (these are the bumps on the stem). Then put the Epi-tree back in a cool room and after about 100 days, the Epi-tree will produce new stems.
