Do you want to create your own Kolibri Bouquet with the Reed Basket or Cotton Basket? The separately available inlays with water reservoir and WaterWicks are essential for this. You can choose from three different types of inlays to create a Mono, Field, or Jungle Bouquet. When purchasing a separate inlay, you also receive 3 WaterWicks (watering wicks). The inlays have a diameter of 25 cm.
Which products go into the inlays?
Mono inlay – three Kolibri Orchids with a 12 cm pot size
Field inlay – one Kolibri Orchids with a 12 cm pot size, two Kolibri Orchids with a 9 cm pot size, and three Kolibri Greens with a 6 cm pot size
Jungle inlay – three Kolibri Orchids with a 9 cm pot size and three Kolibri Greens with a 6 cm pot size
The water reservoir ensures that Kolibri Orchids water themselves, making care easier.
How does the Kolibri Bouquet work?
Step 1
Fill the water reservoir with water up to the indicated line. Note: prevent the water from rising above it, otherwise the orchid’s roots will be in the water. The plant doesn’t like this.
Step 2
Push the WaterWicks into the bottom of the nursery pot until the stick has completely disappeared.
Step 3
Make sure the WaterWicks are well submerged. The plants can water themselves via the WaterWicks. After placing the orchids in the inlay, you can place it in the Reed Basket or Cotton Basket.
Step 4
Check the water level in the water reservoir once a week by removing the reservoir from the bowl. Refill with water through the center of the inlay if necessary.
