Want to repot your Kolibri Orchids? Use our orchid bark. Specially developed for orchids, this bark meets all the specific requirements the plant has for its substrate. Since orchids grow with their roots in the air to absorb nutrients, the substrate needs to be airy. Plus, it ensures excellent drainage to prevent root rot!

How do I repot my orchid?

Remove the orchid from the plastic pot
Trim away any rotten roots (these are black)
Submerge the orchid in lukewarm water and place it in the new pot
Fill the pot with the new bark and press down gently

Yesterday we received our online order. I was a little hesitant about having orchids delivered in a box because the courier services here are not always very careful with packages. But the plants were packaged so well, really very well protected. I am so happy that I didn't just pick up some orchids from a DIY store, but instead invested a little more in plants from Kolibri. Orchids old-fashioned? Definitely not with the super trendy colors and sets from Kolibri Company. I am very happy with my two beautiful orchids in nude/terracotta tones, along with the lovely matching pots that fit perfectly with our interior. Delivered very quickly and in perfect condition. I am very satisfied with the orchids and the matching decorative pot! The flowers are beautiful and healthy and have definitely found a lovely place in our home. I found the ordering process very good. Everything went as expected. I was amazed at how well everything was packaged when I received my parcel. It feels like extra attention was given to the packaging. Of course, I already knew about the quality of the orchids because I already had one from Intratuin. Still, I was curious about all the other varieties and colors. I now have three from Kolibri.

I have been buying orchids from Kolibri for years and I can really tell that the quality is much better than other orchids. The plants are full of flowers and my last orchids bloomed for more than half a year! I now have two new ones in my living room again. The older ones will then go to my bedroom for a second round next year. Neatly packaged and shipped super quickly. Nothing but positive experiences; even problems are handled properly (a flower pot was cracked on the inside with a previous order).
