Introduction to Kolibri Company
‘’I have been working at Kolibri Company as a content marketer since January 2022. Before I joined the team, I wrote a blog for Kolibri every month as a freelancer. When a vacancy for a content marketer was posted, I took a chance and applied. The company appealed to me and I think orchids and houseplants are beautiful products. That is quite important when you have to write so much about them and come up with creative ideas for them.
As a content marketer, I write newsletters and, together with the marketing team, I ensure that Kolibri Company is promoted in the right way. I also manage social media channels, the website, and I write blogs. Now you can probably guess who is writing this blog! 😉 In addition to these tasks, customers contact me with questions about orders or products.’’
A Kolibri day
‘’A typical day starts at 8 AM with processing incoming emails from customer service. Then I get to work on priority tasks, such as posting new texts on our website or putting together posts for social media. After lunch, it’s time to take photos of new plant sets and I walk through the greenhouse to create fun stories for Instagram. ‘’

Most memorable day
‘’The Christmas period is a time that stands out for me. The preparations already start in June with a photoshoot where new plant sets are developed.
My role is constantly expanding and I recently started with photography. I am given the opportunity to develop myself as a content marketer for Kolibri Company and I am taking photography courses.
The best part of my job? Every colorful day is different and I get a lot of energy from it! Despite my office job, I am often on the work floor to take photos and videos for social media or products. ‘’
