Will you let your senses be stimulated just like mine at Floriade Expo 2022? Until October 9, 2022, you have the chance to visit this world horticultural exhibition and discover solutions that make our cities more fun, beautiful, and sustainable. And… you have the chance to visit Kolibri Company at the Floriade!
My name is Wendy and I work in the marketing department at Kolibri Company. Together with the Kolibri team, we make sure our stand stays in full bloom so you can enjoy our colorful orchids. We do this by visiting our stand ourselves every week to take care of the Kolibri Orchids and Kolibri Greens.
Are you curious about our stand and want a sneak peek of your visit to the Floriade? I’ll take you along during my visit and tell you all about my day.
Where can you find Kolibri Company at Floriade Expo 2022?
Kolibri Company is the lifestyle brand for a pleasant atmosphere at home with orchids and green plants. We want to inspire everyone to create a place at home where you feel good and happy. With Floriade, which only takes place once every 10 years, we can use a stand to inspire you and show you the beauty of nature. You can find our stand in the Experience Greenhouse in the greenhouse complex The Green House.
Join me at Floriade
I got up early to drive to Almere in our Kolibri car. This time, I brought extra Kolibri Orchids with me to restock our stand. Once I arrived at the Floriade, I walked to the Experience Greenhouse with a box full of Kolibri Orchids, where the sun was shining beautifully that day and everything was in full bloom.
When I arrived at the Kolibri Company stand, I immediately checked our Kolibri Orchids, Kolibri Greens, and the living corners where combinations with our Kolibri Home products are displayed. This day was mainly about taking care of the Kolibri Orchids and Kolibri Greens, because with a little extra attention, they stay beautiful for months. Care includes watering and checking the plants.
Experience the Kolibri Orchids range
When you discover our stand, the Kolibri Orchids range immediately catches your eye. The playful color palette from nature can be found on the flowers of the orchids. I’m always amazed by this myself, and the many colors make me very happy. Among these Kolibri Orchids, you’ll also find scented orchids. Don’t be shy when you visit the stand—take a moment to smell these Kolibri Orchids! 😉 They give off a wonderful, fresh-sweet scent.
Discover the Inner Retreat interior trend
To bring the beauty of nature into your home, we use interior trends to show you how to apply this. At the Kolibri Company stand, we show you the calm and serene Inner Retreat living trend. You can find my favorites that fit this trend right here. I personally love calm items, which is why my interior is inspired by Inner Retreat. For example, the Kolibri Orchids Treviso in the Kolibri Home Ring pot nude has found a beautiful spot in my home.
In addition to Inner Retreat, you’ll find seven more interior trends with us. This way, there’s something for everyone’s taste and a living style that suits you and makes you feel at home. Will you be inspired by one of these interior trends too?
What else can you do at the Floriade?
It’s not just in the Experience Greenhouse that you can enjoy blooming plants and flowers; the entire Floriade park is now in bloom. You’ll find various national pavilions here where countries showcase their culture, plants, flowers, and local innovations for green cities. I’ve already had a look at the Bangladesh and Turkey pavilions, and they really cheered me up! Both national pavilions can be found opposite the Experience Greenhouse. There’s so much more to experience on the Floriade grounds, which cover over 60 hectares and even feature a cable car you can ride.
