We pack every order in specially developed and plant-friendly packaging. This ensures that the plants and home accessories arrive safely at your home.

Choosing, ordering, and just a little wait…
After browsing the range of orchids, green plants, and home accessories, you’ve made your choice. How exciting that your order has been placed! After receiving your order, Kolibri Company employees gather the products together. Our products are ready in the orchid nursery and come straight from the grower.
Once every product from an order has been picked, we start packing. This isn’t just a simple process. To transport all products safely, they must be secure and protected in the packaging. The boxes we developed ensure that we transport products safely. This keeps orchids, green plants, and home accessories stable. Depending on the order, we choose the right box. We have several sizes available. For example, we have a specific box for gift sets, while an orchid in a pot is packed in a different box.
Packed and ready to ship
Securely packed, address label attached, and your order is ready to go. We ship our orders every business day before 10:00 AM and hand them over to our carrier that same day.
We deliver our orders to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, and Italy. Shipping costs are €5.95. We offer free shipping on orders over €50. As soon as our carrier scans a package, you will receive a Track & Trace code in your inbox. This allows you to easily track your order.
Ordered a gift? You have the option to add a nice personal message during checkout. We handwrite your message on a card and include it in the box.
Unboxing your order
Ding dong! The doorbell rings and your Kolibri Company order is ready to be unboxed. Are you ready to unpack it? Because the box is specially developed, unboxing happens step by step. Be careful and place the box upright on a stable surface before you start unboxing.
Now you can remove the products from the box as individual items. Orchids, green plants, and home accessories are packed between folded cardboard (called the interior). You can remove these one by one. Do this step by step. Did you choose to buy a plant in a pot? Then we’ve already placed it in the pot for you. When handling pots, make sure to hold the pot itself when removing it from the box.
Finally, you can enjoy your new plants. Did you know we include a care card with every order? That way, you know exactly how much water or light a plant needs. With the right care, your new elegant orchid or green powerhouse will last even longer. You can also always take a look at our care page.
